FAQ's

+ How long does it take after our wedding to receive the images?

I aim to get your wedding images professionally edited, uploaded on to your online gallery and the USB sent through the post in 4-6 weeks.

+ Do we get all the images you take?

Pretty much, yes! I take out duplicate images and images where people have their eyes shut etc. and then I edit the rest for you.

+ Do you design albums?

Yes, I do. Once you receive your wedding images, I ask you to pick the images you'd like in your album and then I design the first proof. I then make any changes (if any) and send off the design to a luxury Italian album company who make the most beautiful albums. Because they are made to order this can take up to 10 weeks.

+ We've seen your website and love your work! How do we book?

Send me an email with your wedding date so that I can pencil in your date and we'll arrange a meet up over coffee so that we can chat and discuss your wedding in more detail. Then I will give you a copy of my photography contract to read and sign and upon return of a signed contract and 20% deposit you are booked in.

+ Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured! If your venue requests a copy of my public liability insurance certificate I can provide that to them.

+ What is an 'Engagement shoot' and should we do this?

An engagement shoot is a photo shoot with me so that we can get to know each other a bit better and a chance for you to get used to be in front of the camera. We will practice a couple of 'natural' poses and I can almost guarantee that you'll feel at ease in front of the camera by the end!

+ Can our family and friends order prints and/or canvases directly from you?

Absolutely! Once I upload the images on to your private gallery there will be a link to the products they can buy to include digital high resolution images, photo prints and canvases. They can either buy them through my website or email me direct.

+ What happens if you are unable to attend our wedding last minute e.g. you get ill?

The wedding industry is a huge and friendly community and I am lucky enough to know lots of amazingly talented photographers so if the worst did happen then I have lots of friends that I can call upon to photograph your wedding for you and I would edit in my signature style.

+ Do you take the "formal" group shots and how long does this take?

Yes - there is always time for some formal shots, generally straight after the ceremony. I recommend keeping the list short so that it doesn't take too long out of your day. I ask for a list of the formal shots you want ahead of time and ask that you delegate a member of your wedding party to help organise people on the day to make it run smoothly and quickly.

+ When do I need to book you?

To ensure I have your date free, ASAP. Once you have secured your date with your venue - get in touch.

+ Are travel costs included in your packages?

Up to an hour away from Harrogate, yes. But if you want me to travel a little further, I would love to but there may be a slight additional charge to cover travel costs.

+ What happens if it rains?

Don't panic! I have shot weddings where it has rained before and it didn't spoil the day in the slightest. I don't mind getting wet so if you're prepared to brave the rain with an umbrella or under a shelter we can still get beautiful outdoor shots, if not we can do photos indoors.
