The wedding of Rachael and John in Saltburn-by-the-Sea… where do I even start?

I was super excited for this wedding as I had never had the pleasure of doing wedding photography close to the coast before, never mind the beautiful town of Saltburn, North Yorkshire. The day started at Rachael’s parents’ house for Bridal Prep with her sister and then they headed to the their family Church in Saltburn where Rachael’s parents had also got married.

After a beautiful Church ceremony the Bride and Groom headed to Saltburn Pier and beach for some wedding photography portraits followed by a visit to Rachel’s Grandma’s bench at the Saltburn bandstand. It just so happened that a band was due to start playing any moment and they insisted on playing a love song for Rachael and John. They took this in their stride and danced and had so much fun in front of an audience - it was really cute! We then headed to Skelton Cricket Club where they had the most gloriously decorated Tipi that Rachael had almost single-handedly decorated from top to bottom with DIY wedding bits!
